Iran: Workers occupy Mahshahr oil and petrochemical factories

Re-post from Shahrokh Zamani Action Campaign

There has been an internet shutdown in Iran since the US-Israeli attacks began on February 28th. However, the Khuzestan Vanguard Socialist Workers’ Cell published the following short statement on March 4th 2026. Mahshahr is a port in Khuzestan province in southern Iran.

The oil and petrochemical factories in Mahshahr are under workers’ supervision, and the workers are at work and have set up barricades inside the factories; and we workers condemn any kind of foreign intrusion and will resist it. All the Pahlavi supporters and those who are lounging abroad, who have a claim to govern [Iran], will be sent to their graves. The workers’ cells inside the factories are the front line of the struggle.

Long live the militant workers!
